Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

“Scroll to Action” is a youth empowerment initiative designed to equip Year 10 and 11 students across partner schools with social media literacy, democratic resilience, and civic leadership skills. It promotes critical media literacy, responsible digital engagement, and collaboration across diverse communities.

The project is led by ISRA and CSU, with support from the newDemocracy and Amity College, and is funded by Multicultural NSW.

The program follows the 3Es Approach: Educate, Engage, Execute:

  1. Educate – Media literacy training, curriculum integration, and responsible digital engagement.
  2. Engage – Participatory conferences, youth leadership training, and inter-school collaboration.
  3. Execute – Student-led projects, community impact initiatives, and leadership development.
  • Enhances Curriculum: Aligns with the NSW Curriculum and English, HSIE and SoR subjects.
  • Empowers Students: Co-designs the program with the student leads, develops leadership, collaboration, and media literacy skills
  • Strengthens Community Ties: Encourages cross-school projects and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • School Recognition: Provides opportunity for awards, media coverage, and participation in national initiatives.
